About Us
Whitley Home Medical Equipment, Inc is locally owned and operated and has been in Henderson County for over 11 years. Owner Joye Haynes-Ganger is originally from Western North Carolina and brings 35 years of health care experience to her work in providing home medical equipment. Co-owner Gregg Ganger has had years of experience in custom building and fabrication for complex rehab. Joye have been a resident in Henderson County for over 30 years.
Their staff strives daily to deliver the best products for each of their patient's needs and take pride in educating the patient fully on each product that is sold.
Additionally, Whitley Home Medical staff actively volunteer in the community to assist the sick and elderly with qualified care and service. Community involvement is very important to Joye and Gregg as their passions are education for all children, accessibility in health care for everyone, and helping the less fortunate.
Credentials & Accreditation
Whitley Home Medical is ACHC accredited. Our state of accreditation means a group of peers has entered our business, and inspected cleanliness, patient files, patient follow-up, equipment delivery, equipment maintenance, quality assurance, handbooks, OSHA requirements, insurance and many other elements of the business.
Accreditation requirements can be viewed in full at www.achc.org. It is now voluntary to have this peer review committee come in to check all policies and procedures but starting in October 2009, all medical equipment companies must have accreditation in order to bill any insurance.
Our ACHC accreditation allows us to do business with insurance companies, which expands the number of individuals to whom we can provide quality care and equipment.
